
"Functions"
The Lord Dudley has two function rooms situated on its first
floor. Again comfort is the key. Whith two beautiful and homely
lounge rooms -The Boardroom and Guinness rooms. Both have original
fireplaces, are furnished with deep comfortable sofas and lounge
chairs and decorated with carefully selected antiques and knick-knacks.
These rooms provide the ideal setting for functions including
birthdays, farewells, engagement parties, meetings, or even
watching your favourite sporting events. Both rooms are air-conditioned,
have their own private bar, and feature beautiful open fireplaces
in the winter.
Upstairs
"Upstairs" is open to everyone after 5 pm. That is of course
unless, as is often the case, it is booked for a private function
or party. Great place to get a group of friends or business
associates together for drinks, and cocktail party catering
is of course also available.
The Guinness Lounge
The Guinness Lounge is the ideal venue for any large event.
Room Capacity 60 – 100 people. The Guinness Lounge has
a large screen in the room with DVD playing facilities. And
like the rest of the hotel it has an wireless internet connection
in the room.
The Boardroom
The Boardroom has a Capacity of 30 – 60 people. The
Boardroom is perfect for holding the more intimate function.
The Boardroom is also perfect for holding business meetings
as we have the facilities to show your computer presentations
on our large screen. And like the rest of the hotel it has an
wireless internet connection in the room. This space also includes
its own private smoking balcony.
More Room Features
Generally Top 40 music is always played throughout the pub.
However, both rooms have an iPod connection which allows your
music to be played in either or both of the rooms. All iPods
are compatible with this connection except for iPod shuffles.
Both rooms have comfortable lounge settings, are air-conditioned,
have their own private bar and feature beautiful open fireplaces
in the winter.
The Bar
The upstairs bar has on tap: Tooheys New, Coopers Pale Ale,
Real Pils, Victoria Bitter, Carlton Draught and Bulmers. We
also stock an extensive range of spirits and liqueurs, Australian
and Imported bottled beers, as well as boasting one of the most
comprehensive wine lists in any pub in Sydney.

If you are having a function tap beer can be tailored to
suit your needs.
The Big Screens
Both the Boardroom and the Guinness Lounge have huge projection
screens that are perfect for watching your favourite sporting
events. The Lord Dudley subscribes to Fox Sports 1 and 2 so
if you book your function as soon as you know the date of any
must-see event, you’ve got a good chance of getting the
best seats in Sydney! Also ideal for those powerpoint presentations
at your next business meeting.
The Lord Dudley Shuttle Bus
A bus is available to groups of not more than ten patrons
who have dined in our restaurant and require transport to either
a sporting or theatrical venue in the local area for a small
fee.
Internet Wi Fi
Having a business or conference meeting and need the internet?
You can login your laptop to the internet via our WIFI for a
small connection fee.
